Accessibility Statement

Effective September 24, 2026 · Techoclaro LLC

Draft pending attorney review. This text may change before it is final; we will post the new version here with a new effective date.

We want everyone to be able to use Techoclaro, in English or Spanish, on any device and with assistive technology. Our goal is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. If something gets in your way, tell us and we will help.

1. Our commitment

People facing foreclosure, debt or credit problems include older adults, people with disabilities, people reading on an old phone with a weak connection, and people more comfortable in Spanish than English. Techoclaro LLC builds www.techoclaro.com for all of them.

Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We treat accessibility problems as defects to fix, not as extras.

2. What we do

  • Two languages. Every screen, notice and letter template is available in English and Spanish. You can switch languages at any time, and reminders are sent in the language you choose.
  • Plain language. We write short sentences and explain legal terms the first time they appear.
  • Keyboard and screen readers. Pages use headings, labels and landmarks, include a “Skip to the main content” link, and can be used with a keyboard alone. Interactive tools that normally use dragging also offer a single-tap or keyboard alternative.
  • Easy to see and tap. Text can be enlarged, color is not the only way we show information, and buttons are sized to be easy to tap.
  • Sign-in without puzzles. You sign in with a link by email, a code by text, or a passkey, with no memory tests or CAPTCHAs.
  • Honest time limits. Where a code expires (for example, a sign-in code after 10 minutes), we say so and let you request a new one.

3. Known limitations

We are still working toward full conformance. Areas we know may fall short today:

  • PDF documents. Letters and case packages you download as PDF may not be fully readable by every screen reader. Ask us and we will provide the content in another format.
  • Documents you upload. We cannot make third-party documents (such as a notice from your lender) accessible, but our document reader can turn a photo or scan into text you can read on screen.
  • Spanish legal text. Some Spanish translations of legal notices are still waiting for review by a qualified bilingual reviewer. Where the English and Spanish versions differ, tell us.
  • Charts and diagrams. Some visual tools, like the case map and strategy canvas, may be harder to use with a screen reader. The same information is available as text lists on your timeline and case pages.

We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit. We plan to, and we will update this statement with the results.

4. Report a barrier or ask for help

If anything on Techoclaro is hard for you to use, please tell us. Email privacy@techoclaro.com with “Accessibility” in the subject, or write to Techoclaro LLC, 1341 W. Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX 75247. You can write in English or Spanish.

It helps to tell us the page or feature, what you were trying to do, and the device, browser and any assistive technology you use — but just telling us the problem is enough.

We aim to reply within 5 business days. If a barrier keeps you from meeting a deadline, say so in your message and we will help you get the information another way as quickly as we can. Please do not wait for our reply to act on a legal deadline.
