Good morning, Your Honor.

I am representing myself today, so I ask for your patience.

I respectfully ask the Court to consider this case. In Huston v. U.S. Bank Nat'l Ass'n, 359 S.W.3d 679 (Tex. App.—Houston [1st Dist.] 2011), the court held that a counterclaim seeking affirmative relief cannot be asserted in an expedited Rule 736 foreclosure proceeding, and a separate district-court suit is the route to contest the right to foreclose.

I respectfully ask the Court for more time to resolve this.

Thank you, Your Honor, for hearing me. I am ready to answer your questions.
